A GROUP of Solihull youngsters have been chosen to represent their borough at Parliament.

Natasha Browne and James Hunt were elected as new Members of Youth Parliament - MYPs - while Alex Jenner and Billy Penny were elected as Deputy Members of Youth Parliament, DMYPs.

Local schools and youth centres voted for the representatives as well as on key issues for young people in Solihull. Hate crime was viewed as the biggest problem, with 1,456 votes, with mental health next followed by e-safety, sexual exploitation and relationship issues.
