A MAJOR £4m development at Hogarths – the highly acclaimed hotel and restaurant on the edge of Dorridge in Solihull – has been completed.
The scheme significantly improves the dining facilities, increases the number of bedrooms and improves the hotel’s wedding and conference facilities.
Nearly eight years after owner Helena Hogarth and her husband Andy took over the hotel – which is set in 30 acres of unspoilt woodland and approached off Four Ashes Road – they have completed a significant development which ‘brings the garden and grounds into the building’ and which features a new and relaxing Brasserie and Bar.
A fine dining restaurant will open at a later date following the appointment of a highly renowned chef.
Work on the new 32 bedrooms will be completed shortly bringing the total number of bedrooms to 49.
Helena Hogarth said: “We are thrilled at how the hotel has turned out.
“It is in a beautiful setting – complete with its own moat and island – and the architects and interior designers have enabled the gardens and grounds to extend right into the building so that, in the brasserie especially, it feels as though you are eating outside whilst indoors.”
Around 30 jobs are being created as a result of the development.
