Hundreds enjoy 'Journey to the Stable' at St James'

PUPILS from local infant schools in Solihull took part in a Nativity story with a difference this week - the baby Jesus was real!

Over 600 youngsters from 14 schools have enjoyed ‘Journey to the Stable’ at St James the Great Church in Shirley where the children were involved with activities ending at the stable with Joseph, Mary and the baby Jesus.

Shepherds and later,wise men played by the clergy and members of the parish churches joined in the fun wich included the real baby Jesus played by four different children.

The event will be open to all this Sunday December 6 at 6pm in St. James, Church Road.
