POLICE have released a CCTV image of a man caught on camera attempting to use bank cards stolen from a car.
The images, taken from a cashpoint on Shirley High Street, show the man attempting to withdraw money using a bank card which was stolen from a Citroen Picasso on Burman Road, Shirley.
The car was left overnight on Wednesday, July 4, with a wallet on display.
Detective Constable Chris Burt said: "We've conducted extensive inquiries to identify the man who is caught on CCTV using the banks cards stolen when the car was broken into. But now we need the public's help.
"I would urge anyone who recognises the man to contact us. He has a lot of explaining to do."
