A SOLIHULL school has seen a record number of children taking up music lessons this term, the highest in the school’s history.

A SOLIHULL school has seen a record number of children taking up music lessons this term, the highest in the school’s history.

Forty seven pupils at Meriden Primary School have come forward to learn a range of musical instruments including the flute, guitar, cello, saxophone and ocarina. The school has also established a choir which is led by deputy headteacher, Mark Street.
