THE countdown is on to the social event of the year when the Mayor’s Borough Ball is re-launched on March 28 at the National Motorcycle Museum.
Branded as ‘A Ball for All’, the charity evening, sponsored by the Solihull News and Touchwood is in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support and is open to everyone. Guests can be assured of a wonderful evening in the company of the Mayor, Councillor David Bell and Mayoress Sally Bell, complete with dinner, DJ and popular band, Earl Grey and the Tealeaves.
A tombola with fabulous prizes will be on the night - tickets are just £10 for a book of 10 - and a grand raffle draw with great prizes including use of a Range Rover for any one month of your choice and a night at St John’s hotel with champagne and dinner - will also keep guests entertained. All proceeds from the raffle will go to borough- based Troop Aid.
At £30 each, £300 for a table of 10, tickets for the Ball represent excellent value. Contact the Mayor’s office on 0121 704 6023 to book.
If you or your company can help with a donation or provide prizes for the tombola just call the Mayor’s office. All sponsors will receive recognition at the Ball and in the Solihull News.
