SOLIHULL is the most prosperous town in the Midlands to do business, according to the latest Duport Business Confidence Report.
The company register for the town grew by 532 in 2012, representing growth of 58 per cent, which is significantly higher than the UK average of 44 per cent.
Company formation also reached an all-time high, with 1,052 new companies being formed, more than any other year on record for the town.
Expansion at Jaguar Land Rover, which is planning to create 800 production jobs at its manufacturing facility in Lode Lane, the new casino and development at the NEC, expansion of the runway at Birmingham Airport and while far in the future, HS2, will all increase business opportunities in Solihull and district. And of course, this will have an impact on the wider West Midlands economy.
Solihull Chamber of Commerce offers support and advice to businesses in the district. We provide further opportunities for business growth, a fact recognised by all the companies mentioned above, who are all Chamber members.
