A SHIRLEY woman has been jailed after pleading guilty to robbing a Buckinghamshire jewellers.
Sarah Wilkes, 40, of Foxcote Drive, admitted taking part in a robbery at Kasim Jewellers, in Aylesbury.
The robbery took place on May 9 and Wilkes was arrested at her borough home three days later.
Last Friday she was sentenced to four years, four months in prison.
The court had heard that Wilkes had rang the buzzer at the front of store and held the door open for three masked men.
The robbers, brandishing sledgehammers and an axe, smashed display cabinets and stole at least £30,000 worth of jewellery.
Other defendants are still due to go before the courts.
