RADIO presenter Joanne Malin stocked up on fashion bargains when she opened a new boutique-style Acorns shop in Solihull last weekend.
Shoppers flocked to the opening of the store in Station Road which stocks high-end High Street clothing to designer wear, with names from Per Una, Next, Phase Eight, Viyella, Calico, Principles and Karen Millen.
Fans of ‘Mornings with Joanne Malin’, Joanne’s popular show on BBC WM 95.6 fm, collected autographs from the presenter, a dedicated Acorns supporter, who wanted to help support the children through the funds raised at the new shop, packed with ‘fashion with a conscience’ clothes, and books.
People have also taken clothes and goods for the new Acorns store to Country Casuals & Viyella in Solihull town centre, who have supported Acorns. Those who helped stock the new Acorns Children’s Hospice shop went into a draw to win clothes vouchers.

More volunteers are needed to help, and those who can spare a regular few hours are asked to go along to the store and see Lucy Phillips.
