Regarding Yew Tree Medical Centre (Letters). As a longstanding patient I feel that I must defend the practice and its staff.
During the time I have been registered with them I have found that all of the staff have been polite and courteous and have endeavoured to meet my needs whether it be for an appointment, urgent or otherwise, advice or treatment.
Like everything in life there are periods when demands exceed capacity.
However the practice has not only established an advance booking system for a Saturday morning surgery but medical staff are providing extra appointments by foregoing their own time. The practice is also in the process of establishing a patient participation group and has invited patients to join.
I therefore would suggest your reader take up this invitation and join me on the PPG.
