FOUR-time world kickboxing champion Kash “The Flash” Gill will meet David Cameron on Wednesday for Vaisakhi - the Sikh celebration.
The 44-year-old Solihull father of three, will be among a select number of guests at 10 Downing Street.
Kash, who retired in 2002, said: “I’m going to show him a few low kicks and a few knees and ask him if there’s any chance I can be PM for the day. It will be nice to meet him and I’m looking forward to it.
“I received a phone call last week asking for my address details to visit Downing Street. I was quite shocked.
“At first I thought it was a wind-up, but the letter arrived the day before April Fools Day. I couldn’t turn it down.
“I do a lot for Vaisakhi celebrations so maybe that’s why I was invited - I’m not that religious but I come from a Sikh background.
“Kickboxing is fantastic for discipline and respect and I’ve had kids stay with me from six to 26.”
Kash teaches in Shirley every Tuesday from 6pm to 8pm at the LAYCA Centre in Stretton Road. Call 07973 421 690 for details.
