CYCLESOLIHULL, the voluntary cycling initiative, is encouraging people to keep their bikes out of the shed this year with a programme of regular cycle rides during autumn and winter.
A longer 25-mile ‘Saturday Stretcher’ ride this Saturday (November 7 at 10am from Brueton Park) will be followed by shorter, 10-mile, Sunday Cycle Rides starting at 1.30 pm on November 15 (from Cheswick Green shops) and November 29 (from Dorridge rail station).
Cyclesolihull co-ordinator Stephen Holt said “Cycling at this time of year is often very pleasant – the roads are quieter, the temperature perfect and this year the autumn colours are wonderful so it really is a great time to get cycling”.
All the Cyclesolihull rides are free - simply turn up at the start point.
Full details of all the rides are available at www.cyclesolihull.org.uk.
