A KINGSHURST student has been charged with allegedly selling £10,000 worth of faked motor insurance documents to friends.

Simon Biggs, 19, of Moxhull Road, was charged with 17 counts of fraud and nine thefts for the alleged scam which began a year ago.

The 1eenager is accused of taking almost £10,000 from ten victims across Solihull, while putting in fraudulent claims to motor insurance companies such as BISL, Liverpool Victoria and UKAIS.

He was also charged with perverting the course of justice. The case was adjourned until January 10 for committal.
