RECIPE blogger and talented young chef Laura Grazia has been crowned regional winner in a top cooking competition.
The 16-year-old, whose dishes regularly feature in the Solihull News’ Recipe of the Week column, has bagged a place in the national finals of the Springboard Future Chef 2013 competition.
She impressed judges with her stuffed pork fillet with potato rosti and a white wine sauce and a chocolate and raspberry meringue tart with passion fruit sorbet.
“I was so happy when I found out, I couldn’t stop smiling,” the Knowle youngster told us.
The final is in London on March 18.
