Alfa Romeo MiTo Sprint is the fourth car that Guest Alfa in Knowle have generously donated to the FastAid Community First Responders (CFRs).
Volunteer CFRs are trained to attend emergency calls before the ambulance service as they cover an area just seven minutes from their home or work, and provide life saving treatment until the ambulance arrives.
The new car will be used by the six members of the Knowle-based team to deliver even faster emergency care.
Sam Jackson, FastAid Solihull scheme co-ordinator, said: “This is the fourth car that Guest Alfa has kindly donated to the Knowle CFRs and we’re incredibly grateful.
“Our relationship has grown from strength to strength with the dealership over the past three years when they first chose our charity to support. Thanks to them we’re now a very familiar site in the local community.”
Mark Lines, a fellow CFR and general manager at Guest Alfa, handed over the keys last week. He said: “Helping people is hugely important to us at Guest Motors and it’s fantastic that through Alfa Romeo we can supply fast, reliable cars such as the MiTo Sprint to ensure that every emergency call is dealt with quickly and efficiently.”
