A GROUP of Solihull workers will be getting out of bed early on Sunday - and then pushing another for eight-and-a-half miles!
That’s because 29 employees at Land Rover will be in the Great Midlands Fun Run with a decorated hospital bed in tow.
They are running for Birmingham’s John Taylor Hospice, whose head of community nursing, Nicola Tongue, is running with husband Gary.
“I heard it was the 100th anniversary of the hospice and I felt that we ought to do our bit,” said Gary.
Ray Woods, head of marketing for the League of Friends of the hospice, added: “We have never assembled so many supporters for one event and are really grateful to all the Land Rover staff.”
