Langley pupils turn trees into bug houses

PUPILS at Langley School’s Year 8 eco club have found a novel use for old Christmas trees - turning them into bug houses.

PUPILS at Langley School’s Year 8 eco club have found a novel use for old Christmas trees - turning them into bug houses.

Five members of the group - Gregory Harris, Luke Deeley, William Noon, Tom Beddow and Tom Rees - showed off their idea at the Mell Square Eco Fair last weekend.

The fir trees have been converted into something that will attract bees and other insects into people’s gardens.
