LocalL children are launching a campaign to encourage better parking around schools.

Solihull Council has teamed up with 11 infant and juniors to help encourage parents to think about where they park on the school run.

The campaign’s launch was given a helping hand by the Mayor of Solihull, Councillor Ken Hawkins, at St Andrew’s Primary School in Windrush Close.

The schools taking part in the campaign are: Balsall Common Primary School, Berkswell Primary School, Bishop Wilson Primary School, Burman Infant School, Castle Bromwich Junior School, Dorridge Nursery and Infant School, Mill Lodge Primary School, Monkspath Junior and Infant School, St Andrew’s Primary School, Windy Arbor Junior and Infant School and Yorkswood Primary School.
