Make a will, and help out charity cause

PEOPLE across Solihull are being urged to make a will and give their fee to charity as part of National Make A Will Month in November.

PEOPLE across Solihull are being urged to make a will and give their fee to charity as part of National Make A Will Month in November.

Will Aid, a charity based in Somerset, say only 40 per cent of people surveyed by them this year have made a will and are calling on those who have not got one to book an appointment with a solicitor taking part in the Will Aid scheme.

Proceeds from the appointment will be donated to organisations such as Help The aged, the NSPCC, Save The Children and the British Red Cross, instead of going to a solicitor's firm.

Solicitors taking part in the scheme include Williamson and Soden based in Stratford Road, Shirley and Standley & Co located in the High Street, Solihull.

Anyone wanting an appointment with them should telephone Williamson & Soden in Solihull on 0121 733 8000 or Standley & Co on 01564 776287.
