Man denies calling pensioner to ask colour of her knickers

A MAN, who allegedly called a number of women including an 81-year-old to ask what colour knickers they wore, has denied causing a public nuisance.

A MAN, who allegedly called a number of women including an 81-year-old to ask what colour knickers they wore, has denied causing a public nuisance.

Lee Ireland, 33, of Helstone Grove, Tyseley, was charged with making a number of calls of a violent and sexual nature to women in Solihull between October 10 and December 14, last year. He pleaded not guilty to the offence and elected jury trial. He was bailed to appear at Birmingham Crown Court on May 2.
