Dane Hamilton, 33, All Saints Road, Wolverhampton, had just landed on a flight from Jamaica on August 2, when he was stopped and searched.

Baldev Atwal, prosecuting, said officers had discovered a box of Jamaican Patties in his hand luggage, which had been hollowed out and contained 1.46 kilograms of the Class A drug.

Hamilton, who denied drugs smuggling, was bailed to appear at Birmingham Crown Court on March 12.
