Man from Solihull Borough appears in court for breaking ASBO terms.

A MAN from Chelmsley Wood has been given a suspended sentence for breaking the terms of an Anti Social Behaviour Order (Asbo).

A MAN from Chelmsley Wood has been given a suspended sentence for breaking the terms of an Anti Social Behaviour Order (Asbo).

James Bevan, of Box Road, was given the interim injunction in November 2011, which stated he should not use foul or abusive language or threatening and intimidating behaviour to two witnesses and their family and visitors, or to any other residents in the same housing block.

Bevan was arrested for breaking the terms of the Asbo between November 28 2011 and February 29 this year. The 28-year-old pleaded guilty to breaking the terms at Birmingham County Court on May 8.

Bevan received a 56 day prison sentence, suspended for 12 months, and was told the order would remain in force until May 7, 2013.
