A NEIGHBOUR from hell has been handed a 26-week prison term and is being evicting from his home.

Stephen Saunders, a Solihull Community Housing tenant in Gosford Walk, Hobs Moat, appeared before Solihull Magistrates on Monday June 11.

Magistrates heard the 53-year-old had harassed his neighbour Gina Hazlewood by threatening her, calling her names, banging, shouting, playing loud music and leaving her distressing notes.

Saunders was given a total of 26 weeks in jail for harassment, two counts of wasting police time and causing damage to a CCTV camera.

He was also made subject to a restraining order which does not allow him to return to Gosford Walk or have any contact with Ms Hazlewood for the next two years.

Community Housing are currently in the process of evicting Saunders from his property.
