PUPILS at St Thomas More Catholic School in Sheldon have been bringing maths to life.

Staff and students have been taking part in a week of maths fun following the theme of climate change and the book 365 Penguins. Children made their own ‘maths hats’ and worked on solving a series of investigations based on climate change.

“It was a unique way for even the youngest members of the school to enjoy their first taste of Maths in a fun and interesting way,” teaching assistant Ann Shakespeare said.
