BRUMMIE comedian Jasper Carrott was among the array of guests who attended the book launch of MK Lifefit, a fitness and nutritional book.
Matt Kendrick, owner of the MK personal Training Academy in Shirley wrote the book after assessing the fitness and nutritional needs of hundreds of clients who were unsure about healthy food and frustrated with the lack of results in the gym.
Matt, 35, founded his personal training academy in 2001 with the aim to bridge the gap between nutrition, fitness, rehabilitation and overall wellness.
Proceeds from the book launch went to Jasper's favourite charity Sunfield School and Children's Home.
Over 200 guests attended the launch at David Lloyd, Monkspath, including Tony Iomi from Black Sabbath, Bev Bevan (ELO), fashion designer Alvin Loy and international England cricketer Dougie Brown.
MK personal training offers a range of services to suit individual clients, and dedicated client of over three years, Jasper Carrott was happy to express his experience with the company in the foreword for Matt's book. "I now have training age 25 years younger than my own, I feel great."
Together with chef Gareth Cole, Matt started work on his book which is a structured twelve week plan to teach habits that will last a lifetime and cutting edge fat loss workouts. "I want to show people that we at MK Personal Training Academy understand the reasons why people hold back from experiencing the true benefits of one to one exercise."
With five years at Aston Villa Football Club and working in International Cricket during the World Cup on his CV, Matt is more than experienced to help people train to their own abilities.
MK Personal Training Academy lends their expertise at various events, including pop concerts and WWE world wrestling.
