Then come along to The Sixth Form College this Saturday (November 7) from 10am until 4pm (last entry 3.30pm) when it stages its annual Open Day.
The Mayor of Solihull, Cllr Norman Davis and the Mayoress Brenda Davis, will also be joining prospective students and their families at the event which will see the pair tour the college and attend a presentation by college principal Paul Ashdown.
“We are delighted to welcome the Mayor and Mayoress into the college,” said Mr Ashdown.
This is an important day for the college, which should help young people to find out more about what is on offer at The Sixth Form College, Solihull, so that they can make choices with all the information they need.”
The Mayor’s office has been very supportive of the college, notably when the college was inspected by Ofsted last Spring. The previous Mayor helped the college to celebrate its successful Ofsted report, which rated the college as Outstanding or Good in all areas.
“We have a track record of outstanding results,” continued the principal. “This is backed up by our recent Ofsted inspection report, which stated that the college has ‘a relentless focus on student achievement’.”
