Mayor to unveil wheelchair swing at Reynalds Cross

THE pupils at Reynalds Cross School are to receive a new wheelchair swing to enhance their playground – opened by HRH The Princess Royal in 2007.

THE pupils at Reynalds Cross School are to receive a new wheelchair swing to enhance their playground – opened by HRH The Princess Royal in 2007.

The swing has been donated by Alcoa Manufacturing (Birmingham), a firm which has forged strong links with the school which teaches pupils with learning difficulties. This latest donation from the firm will ensure that pupils of all abilities will be able to access further leisure activities within the school.

It will be unveiled by the Mayor of Solihull, Councillor Ken Hawkins, on Thursday, May 2 with TV sports presenter Gary Newbon.
