A WORLD War II medal, likely to have been dropped during Sunday’s remembrance parade, has been found.

Solihull Police were handed the silver accolade, complete with its red, white and blue ribbon this week.

“Obviously the medal will be very precious to its owner and we’d like to reunite them with it as soon as possible,” said Solihull Police’s Property Officer Sue Allen.

She can be contacted on 0845 113 5000 (ext 7921 6620). Callers will be asked to describe the medal in detail, and roughly where it was lost, before being able to make a claim.
