Meet Solihull College's furry friends at its open garden event

SOLIHULL College is opening its gardens to the public in aid of the Citizens Advice Bureau.

SOLIHULL College is opening its gardens to the public in aid of the Citizens Advice Bureau.

As part of the annual Solihull Open Gardens event, visitors can meet a number of the college’s furry and scaled friends, including six baby meerkats, at the Land Based Centre, which houses the college’s animal care and horticulture departments.

The centre will also be hosting fun activities including a pet’s corner, rabbit rescue and dog agility event. plus a barbeque, tombola and plant sale.

It’s open from 10am to 4pm on Sunday (June 24). Admission is £3 for the college or £4.50 to include five local gardens.
