FOUR men have gone on trial accused of murdering Craig Hodson-Walker - a Worcestershire man who was shot dead earlier this year.

Christopher Morrissey, of Elmay Road, Sheldon, Declan Morrissey, of Shirley Park Road, Shirley, Adrian Snape, of Camelot Way, Small Heath, and Anselm Ribera, of Topfield House, Druids Heath, have all denied the charge.

Mr Hodson-Walker was killed in January during a raid on his father’s post office in Fairfield. The 29-year-old was shot in the chest and was pronounced dead soon after.

The men have also pleaded not guilty to the attempted murder of the victim’s dad - who was seriously injured in the same incident.

A jury was sworn in at Birmingham Crown Court earlier this week and the trial is expected to last at least eight weeks.
