The Solihull-based performance group recently began rehearsals for its November production but needs more men of all ages to join the show.
Cast will be singing, acting and some will be learning to sword fight on stage in the family musical, sung in styles ranging from ballads and rock to reggae and the Beach Boys.
Telling the famous tale of Nottingham’s most famous outlaw, it is packed with adventure and heroism, treachery and sorcery, plenty of comedy and, of course, like all of the best musicals, romance.
Rehearsals are held at Mill Lodge School in Aqueduct Road, Shirley, on Monday and Thursday evenings at 7.30pm.
“If you have always fancied ‘treading the boards’ and want to join a show that will be loads of fun with a friendly local theatre group, then get in touch and come along,” said director Veronica Walsh.
