KIND-hearted Michelle Edinburgh will be trekking through the Peruvian wilderness to raise money for a cause close to home.
The psychotherapist will be tackling a sponsored walk along the Inca trail, with money going to the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.
It’s a very important cause for the 39-year-old, because her sister Jacqui has the respiratory illness.
“Jacqui has this lifelong and life threatening disease,” said Michelle. “Over the years Jacqui has had to come to terms with a great deal of loss, loss of health, loss of friends and loss of long-cherished dreams because of cystic fibrosis.
“She faces these losses and continues painful and complex health treatments with resilience, courage and hope.”
Michelle hopes to raise £3,300 from the trek – which will take her through the Andes to the lost city of Machu Picchu.
Ahead of the South American trip, Michelle has organised a fundraising dance. The event will take place at the Royal British Legion on November 20.
