AS British as a cream tea or Big Ben, timeless fashion line Windsmoor is celebrating 75 years at the helm of traditional British fashion.

Best known for its tailoring and formal outerwear made from the best of British fabrics, Windsmoor, founded by Lionel Green and his two brothers, were at the forefront of promoting their brand, sponsoring radio shows and hiring famous illustrator Robb for their advertising campaigns.

By the late 1940s, their slogan "look your best in Windsmoor" had made the brand a household name.

By the 1970s Windsmoor had established some of the first department store concessions and during the 80s boasted one of the the first supermodel advertising hits in the form of Cindy Crawford.

Now owned by British fashion group Jacques Vert, the brand has been given a modern but classy makeover with a selection of original coat designs from the 1940s and 1950s revamped for the Limited Edition collection, giving a modern twist to vintage pieces.
