I FEEL sorry for Caroline Spelman.
She seems to be an excellent constituency MP, yet she's being dragged over the coals for what appears to be a very minor matter involving child care costs.
Meanwhile, one of her Conservative colleagues is accused of making huge payments from our taxes to members of his own family for non-existent work, and all that happened to him is that he'll be stepping down at the next election (he'll continue to draw a salary until then, of course).
Am I alone in thinking Mrs Spelman is being unfairly targeted because of her gender?
