mp3 discs now by the book at Solihull library

Fans of audio books can now play them on their laptop, DVD player or even their phone, thanks to a new collection of mp3 discs in Solihull Central Library.

FANS of audio books can now play them on their laptop, DVD player or even their phone, thanks to a new collection of mp3 discs in Solihull Central Library.

Using mp3 for these audio books means that full, unabridged versions of stories will fit onto just one or two discs.

Solihull Central Library’s mp3 collection currently consists of 65 titles, and has its own stand in the Talking Books section of the library, located on the ground floor.

The mp3 discs will work on a variety of different devices such as mp3 CD players, laptops, personal computers, Macs and DVD players. The set also includes mp4 format for iPod and iPhone users.

As well as this, the mp3 discs should also play on the newer Daisy CD players supplied by the RNIB.
