THE Solihull News’ Mum in a Million was presented with her fantastic prize at Touchwood Shopping Centre this week - £100 in vouchers.
Olga Orlandini, who has become a fervent fund raiser for Birmingham Children’s Hospital since losing her two-year-old son in 2005, was nominated by her daughter Olivia Orlandini-Field.
The inspirational 37-year-old, from Bramcote Drive, was ‘overwhelmed’ to win the borough-wide competition and said: “I’m very touched and very proud. Olivia is a very sensitive person so to do this just shows she really loves her mum.”Touchwood manager Andy Cole said the shopping centre was delighted to support the competition.
“Touchwood is a great place for families and we like to support local initiatives that recognise that something special,” he added.
