MUM of two Sharon Humphreys is flying high as she takes off on a new career with BMI Baby - at the age of 47.
Solihull College student Sharon spent most of her working life as a freelance beauty and fitness consultant. But after raising two boys, now 22 and 17, she decided to pursue her childhood dream of becoming an air stewardess and enrolled on the BTEC Level 3 in Air Cabin Crew and Aviation Operations at the college in September.
Now she’s landed a cabin crew role with BMI Baby, starting in March.
“I am absolutely thrilled to have got a job with BMI Baby,” said the Sheldon resident. “I have wanted to be an air stewardess since I was 16. The course at Solihull College was recommended to me and I am so glad I decided to enrol. It has been fantastic.”
Course tutor Ian Boulton added: “I am extremely proud of Sharon and I know she will excel.”
