ADULTS and children can ride around the country lanes in a classic single-deck bus from the Wythall Transport Museum during August.
In addition to its normal weekend opening, the museum is open on Wednesday afternoons until the end of the month. Malcolm Keeley, a trustee of the museum, which is just south of Birmingham near M42 junction 3, said: “The classic buses really make things come alive and bring back the old-time atmosphere so, each day we’re open in August we’ll run a trip at 2.30pm.
“On August Bank Holiday Sunday and Monday, we’ll be running classic buses all day around the local countryside.”
Admission is £3 for adults (£5 on August Bank Holiday Sunday and Monday), half price for children. For more details visit www.wythall.org.uk.
