VOLUNTEERS at Solihull Hospital have been given a trendy makeover with the launch of new uniforms.
The sky blue tunics and polo shirts with navy trim will replace the dark green uniforms previously worn by the 160 volunteers.
Joan Pryce, volunteer service adviser at the hospital, said: “We wanted to add to the volunteers’ sense of belonging and being part of the organisation.
This new look is comfortable, hard-wearing and recognisable. We are delighted with the final design and have had great feedback from staff and patients.”
The volunteers’ daily tasks involve everything from greeting patients to offering complementary therapies.
