AN ambitious 19-year-old swimmer from Olton has splashed out on his own school.

George Cooke has launched Swim Vibes at Aquasport, in Lincoln Road, for children aged between three and 12.

Keen swimmer George said: Im combining my passion for swimming with teaching - who could ask for anything better?

George has been swimming since the age of seven and started swimming competitively since he was 12.

He added: Ive always enjoyed swimming and this is just my way of giving something back.

Im welcoming children of all abilities and I think my school has the edge on some of the others because Im not asking people to pay a membership, just the classes.

George, who has competed in championships across the country said he will also be looking for opportunities to enter some of his swimmers into competitions.

If I see potential in one of my students, we can look at ways of working on this to get them ready to compete, he added.

Swim Vibes will be holding an open day this Friday (June 1) from 4pm to 5pm.
