LONG-serving NHS staff were thanked for their dedication at an event at Baddesley Clinton held by Solihull NHS Care Trust.

Forty-eight staff, who have between them clocked up 1,305 years of service to the NHS, enjoyed a reception at the National Trust property on September 14.

With a minimum of 25 years’ service, staff including GPs, nurses, dentists, residential support workers, homecare assistants, administration workers and managers, were presented with a pen by Care Trust Chairman Jenni Ord.

Chairman, Jenni Ord said: “It was a privilege to be able to present the long service awards and to thank the staff for their dedication and commitment to the NHS.”

Jayne Hibbard, a locality manager for health and social care, said: “I was delighted to receive the award. It was a lovely event to celebrate my 28 years within social care and health. I have always enjoyed working with the people of Solihull and this was a nice way to reflect on my career so far.”
