ADULT social services in Solihull are among the worst in the country according to the latest figures.
The Care Quality Commission has revealed how local authorities have scored this year.
The borough - whose services dropped from good to adequate last year - remain at the same level, the second lowest rating available. Only seven authorities received this rating, with 95 per cent ranked as performing excellent or well.
None of the 152 councils to be assessed were scored as poor - the lowest rating.
All the other West Midlands authorities scored ‘well’ in the assessment, apart from Sandwell which achieved an excellent rating.
