NPOWER has announced the creation of a retail marketing and domestic sales hub at its Princes Way site.
Three hundred marketing and sales roles will move across to Solihull so that, by the end of year, npower will have a workforce of over 1,000 people based in the town.
Creating this new hub is part of the company’s strategy to become number one for customer experience by 2015.
Dave Cockshott, npower’s domestic sales director, said: “Npower is transforming the way it does things – by putting customers at the heart of our business.
“Creating a centre of excellence in Solihull means we’ll have all our midlands-based sales and marketing people together in one place.
“This will lead to better and quicker decision making, increased collaboration and will reduce our costs at a time when other factors are pushing up people’s energy bills.”
“We already have around 700 people based in Solihull and, with its excellent transport links and great town centre, we’re delighted to be increasing our presence in the town.”
