Famed for its sumptuous décor, gorgeous cocktails and delicious food, Missoula, owned by Stonegate Pub Company, launched its brand new branch in the borough last Thursday.
“Missoula has a reputation for serving delicious American inspired dishes and legendary cocktails including the best margaritas anywhere in town,” said Emma Pugh, Missoula’s general manager.
“But we’re not just known for a great place to visit by night. We will be open from 9am daily and will be offering customers some incredible deals such as two main meals for just £6.99, as well as coffee for 99p, making us the most stylish morning coffee bar in Solihull.”
The attractive premises will also present regular DJs and live music, while Stonegate have also opened brand new flagship nightclub Luna above, to be run separately.
Featuring regular celebrity guests including members of The Only Way is Essex and Made in Chelsea, top DJs including resident Phil Upton, event nights, as well as a state-of-the-art light and sound system, Luna is aiming to be the number one nightclub for Solihull.
The club also has a huge, luxury VIP area upstairs, plush sofas and table-order drinks including bottles of gold-plated Ace champagne, worth up to £500 each to allow guests to ‘party like a star.’
MD Mary Willcock said both Luna and Missoula were targeting a more sophisticated clientele to allow Solihull locals a fantastic, glamorous night out without having to travel to Birmingham.
Replacing The Loft and Rosies, on the High Street, over £650,000 has been spent by Stonegate, which also operate Slug and Lettuce and Hogshead in Solihull, on transforming the site into an upmarket bar and club. Between the two, 53 new jobs have been created in the borough.
