Over the edge for charity

FEARLESS fund raisers descended the side of Fort Dunlop in aid of charity last weekend.

Two Specialist Physiotherapists from Spire Parkway Hospital in Solihull joined the large group who were supporting The Stroke Association.

Steve Beddis and Victoria Kennerdale both have personal experience of this disease which currently plays a focal part in the latest ad campaign from the NHS highlighting the signs and symptoms of the condition.

Victoria said: “Initially going over the edge was a bit scary but as I was going down the wall I really enjoyed it. My dad suffered a series of strokes which ultimately resulted in his untimely death. It’s a horrible disease which makes it hard seeing a loved one suffer”.
