EASTER means lots of eggs and not just the yummy chocolate kind!
Why not have a fun day with the children and copy these ‘eggciting’ creations or think of your own?
Choose higher welfare eggs like barn or free-range - preferably ones with the Freedom Food label meaning the eggs have come from hens that have been kept on farms inspected to the RSPCA’s welfare standards.
Boil your eggs for ten minutes and wait for them to cool (you can speed this up by letting them stand in cold water).
Leave them in their shells and paint or draw on them - either copying these ideas or making up your own. Watercolour or acrylic paints are best - but don’t use oil based paints as they could seep through the shell.
