PARENTS across the borough are being urged to ‘go real’ for Real Nappy Week and save a fortune in nappy costs whilst helping to protect the environment.
With the country experiencing its first recession since 1991, Solihull parents looking for easy ways to save money could save up to £1,000 by opting for real nappies.
Real Nappy Week will take place between Monday, April 27 and Sunday, May 3
Solihull Council will launch a new Real Nappy Resource pack loan scheme containing real nappies, information cards and a presentation. which will be available to midwives, health visitors and ante/post natal care providers Residents can also attend a series of events being run by Solihull Real Nappy Network on the following dates: Monday, April 27 (11am-1pm) at the National Childbirth Trust Baby Cafe, Renewal Family Centre, Vulcan Road, Solihull; Wednesday, April 29 (10am-3pm) at the SRNN stand, Birmingham Women’s Hospital; and Friday, May 1 (10am-3pm) at Solihull Farmer’s Market.
