A generous car dealership in Solihull has helped to speed up patient care by supporting Community First Responders.
Guest Motors in Knowle have provided a brand new Alfa Romeo 147 to the Fastaid Community First Responders (CFR's) enabling the first aiders to support West Midlands Ambulance Service by responding to emergency calls in a professional vehicle.
Dave Monk, chairman of Fastaid was extremely grateful to Guest Alfa Romeo for their support.
"The car will be used by CFRs to attend emergency calls as well as to promote Fastaid at fundraising events.
"As the car is marked up with the Fastaid logo it is easy for members of the public to identify us when we're at an incident."
CFR's are volunteers who are trained to a nationally recognised medical standard, to provide live saving treatment to people in the community. They are dispatched by West Midlands Ambulance Service if they can reach a life threatening situation before an Ambulance crew.
Solihull currently has 12 CFR's who volunteer a minimum of four hours a week to help their local community, and they will be boosted by the help of Guest Motors.
Simon Brown, Dealer Principal at Guest Motors said: "We are always keen to help local charities, so when we heard about Fastaid and what they do, we wanted to support them."
