ANDREW Lloyd’s Webber’s phenomenally successful show, The Phantom of the Opera, takes its 25th Anniversary Tour to Birmingham next week.
Celebrating a quarter of a century on Broadway, and now in it’s 27th year in the West End, the tragic tale takes place beneath the splendour of the Paris Opera House, where hides the disfigured Phantom.
The hugely popular show became the longest running in Broadway history in January 2006 when it celebrated its 7,486th performance, surpassing the previous record holder “Cats”.
The Phantom of the Opera is at Birmingham Hippodrome from March 13 to May 4. Tickets are £22-£60 on 0844 338 5000 or at www.birmingham
