LOVABLE pooch Pippa pipped other dogs to the post in a popular category at a charity Dog Show.
Pippa came first in the 'Dog Judge Wants to take Home' category in an RSPCA show.
Owner Joanna Bromige said: "We got there late so missed the first couple of competitions.
"We all think she is very cute and she was definitely the dog we wanted to take home, so thought that category would be perfect."
Originally a rescue dog living at the RSPCA animal centre in Weoley Castle, Pippa was rehomed two years ago.
"She was really scared when we first brought her home," explained Joanna, who lives in Solihull with her partner and two children.
"But now she's happy to run around and play in the park with everyone."
"We may enter her into more competitions as long as it's not for obedience!" she added.
The show, opened by Claire Young, a former contestant on BBC One's 'The Apprentice' raised more than £2,000 for the animal charity.
Now, the RSPCA are appealing to animal-lovers in Solihull to take part in their sponsored Dog Walk in Cannon Hill Park on Sunday 5th October.
